I’m Dolores Manrique, a Mexican scientist with a passion for ethnobotany and natural cosmetics.
With a background in materials engineering and laboratory experience, I founded my own artisanal cosmetics laboratory in Albiac, a charming village in the Occitanie region of France.
Axolotl Beauty is the name of my brand, dedicated to exploring the treasures of Mexican ethnobotany such as tepezcohuite, prickly pear and candelilla to create skincare products suited to all skin types: mature, sensitive, combination.
From solid deodorants to mood candles, each Axolotl Beauty product is carefully designed to offer a sensory experience and real benefits, celebrating authenticity and natural beauty.

Traditionally used by the Mayans, tepezcohuite is known as the skin tree. The tepezcohuite is recognized for its exceptional virtues; astringent, purifying and repairing.
